Hua Shan : A sacred mountain

Hua means flower. Shan is the mountain. But it is also called “immortal hand”, which is related to its five peaks stretching to the sky.

Hua Shan is one of China’s five sacred, privileged sites of the Emperors during their massive inductions. They had to go at least once during their reign, if they were to send a delegation to confirm their heavenly mandate.
