Yanqing

We recently organized an excursion to the mountains. Beijing is very well located, it is easy to escape the time of day and see fascinating landscapes. The capital is in fact surrounded by mountains. We left Beijing at 9:30 am and 1:30 train later, we arrived in Yanqing, a town northwest of Beijing. There, no taxis, but many individuals who attacked us to propose their service to get us where we wanted to pick. This is what we did to get to the foot of the mountain.

Contrary to the park and the mountain we had visited the day before (Xiangshan Park), we were able to walk quietly without being bothered by the crowd. Indeed, there were few people for our pleasure. At the foot of the mountain lies a beautiful park, with souvenir shops that go with it. Then as and when our advanced, we could enjoy the mountain wilderness. We took the boat to sail on a mountain lake and we get to walk a path that has allowed us to achieve one of the highlights of the place. It’s pretty amazing to see a place like this at 1:30 in Beijing, it is very refreshing, as you can see from the pictures. We returned to Beijing around 22:00 rather tired but happy to be able to admire the scenery.
